No ReelPile account and no cloud, and no account anywhere else either — not even Instagram, which used to be the one exception and is not one any more. You enter a licence key once and that is the last thing ReelPile asks of you. Pulling a new clip in needs the internet, of course, but once it is on your disk it plays without a connection.
No. ReelPile cannot sign in to Instagram — there is no login window and no account of any kind. It fetches a reel the way a visitor does. An earlier version did offer a sign-in, and it was the wrong trade: it ran under your credentials, so anything Instagram does about automated access landed on you rather than on us. Before removing it we measured fourteen real reels without it — all fourteen arrived, none were throttled, and thirteen came down at full 1080×1920. TikTok, Vimeo and files off your disk ask for nothing either.
